Members of the LowCVP secretariat presented details of the strategy, plans and past successes of the Partnership through a public webinar which can now be watched again through the LowCVP website. Activities and forthcoming projects of each of the LowCVP’s Passenger Cars, Fuels, Innovation and; Buses Working Groups were covered in detail during the on-line event. The LowCVP's membership continues to expand as the Partnership works to tackle the barriers to the transition to low carbon road transport ranging from: buyer attitudes and local authority action to facilitating supply chain development in the UK and assessing the balance of market incentive for use of biomass. Since its incorporation in 2009 the Partnership has attracted 169 organisations owner-members to join the organisation, each with a diverse but valuable role to play in accelerating the low carbon shift. (More information on how to join here.)
Members may also explore the online database of studies and other resources (working papers and other documents are available in the password-protected members' area) attend the annual conference and other events at a discounted rate and be involved in shaping and implementing the low carbon future, now. Members and others can also subscribe to the LowCVP's free, monthly newsletter (over 2300 already do).
