The UK offers support to innovators in low carbon transport from early ideas, all the way to demonstrations and initial production. The LowCVP will host a unique open event in Milton Keynes next Wednesday March 4, featuring experts from the full spectrum of the UK’s support and funding agencies including EPSRC, Innovate UK, Horizon 2020, Advanced Propulsion Centre and the Proving Factory.
The event will provide a chance to learn about the range of funding and support available, seek partners for the next H2020 calls, and a chance to provide feedback on how policy makers can act to further strengthen UK backing for automotive innovation.
The event, hosted as part of the activity of the LowCVP's Innovation Working Group will take place at the Transport Systems Catapult (TSC) in Milton Keynes. It will begin (for non-members of the Innovation Working Group) at 11am with presentations and conclude, after lunch, with facilitated discussions, consortium building and a tour of the TSC's facilities. (To register please click here.)
The event provides an unprecedented opportunity to meet and network with a complete range of representatives of the UK's low carbon innovation support community and to help influence future industrial and innovation-support policy in this area.
If you are a technology developer or are looking to apply for Horizon 2020 funding in the near future and would like to participate in the event please contact the LowCVP Secretariat.
The LowCVP regularly plays a role in facilitating activities in UK low carbon transport innovation, particularly where there is an interaction with the policy process.
