A public consultation: "Towards a UK Strategy for Biofuels" was launched by the Department for Transport on 26 April. The consultation seeks views on how the UK is to implement the EU Biofuels Directive which requires Member States to set indicative targets for biofuels sales in 2005 and 2010. The DfT deadline for consultation responses is July 16.
