Technology showcasing opportunity for SMEs and micro-enterprises at LCV 2013

Cenex, the Department for Business, Innovation and Skills (BIS), the Technology Strategy Board and the Carbon Trust have announced the formal opening of a Technology Showcasing opportunity for UK SME and micro-enterprises developing low carbon vehicle technology at LCV 2013 which takes place at Millbrook on 4th – 5th September 2013.
Fifteen companies will be selected to showcase their innovations for one day at this year’s LCV2013 event.
The aim of the technology showcase is to raise awareness of grass roots innovation and potentially game changing technologies being pioneered by UK-based SME and micro-enterprises. It will enable participating companies to promote themselves to industry leaders from vehicle manufacturers through to Tier 1 suppliers and Universities.
The opportunity is ideally suited for companies who have not exhibited at an LCV event before. The 15 companies selected to participate at this year’s event will receive full exhibitor benefits.
Applicants should complete an application form and a company Powerpoint presentation. These will be assessed on a range of criteria and should be received by 21st June 2013. Successful applicants will be announced on the 1st July.
