After 7 years leading the LowCVP, Managing Director Greg Archer has departed at the end of this month. Greg has joined the Brussels-based environmental group Transport and Environment to lead their programme for cleaner vehicles.
Good progress has been made with the appointment of a new Managing Director. 130 applications were received and 5 excellent candidates have been shortlisted with initial interviews scheduled for early February. In the interim period, the LowCVP Deputy Director Jonathan Murray has been appointed as Interim Managing Director. Neville Jackson continues as LowCVP Chairman. Colin Matthews (Joulevert) has been appointed to work part-time as Interim Fuels Programme Manager to take forward this area of work for a few months. The Partnership is currently completing its 2011-12 work programme and finalising plans for next year. The Board hopes to announce the new MD shortly.
