Shell Springboard offers support for low carbon businesses

A total of £350,000 will be given to six winners of Shell Springboard 2019 for the implementation of the best, innovative low carbon business ideas.
Shell Springboard winners receive:
-
‘no-strings attached’ funding of £40,000 for each of the six regional winners plus additional £110,000 for one national winner
-
the opportunity to tell your story in national and local media and generate positive publicity
-
a respected ‘quality assurance’ stamp from experts in the low-carbon sector to help open doors and attract investor interest.
Running since 2005, more than eight out of ten (84%) of Shell Springboard-supported companies are still in business five years after starting up, compared to the national average of around 45%.
