TV personality Nicki Shields, scientist, presenter & broadcaster – including pit-lane reporter for FIA Formula E – will be presenting the prestigious LowCVP Low Carbon Champions Awards at the NEC (Concourse Suites 1&2) on the evening of Wednesday 11 October. Nicki has been the host presenter and pit-lane reporter for ITVs FIA Formula E Championship since 2014 – the all electric racing championship on city street circuits round the world. Each Nicki presents 11 races in 10 cities from Beijing to LA to Monaco, broadcast live to an estimated audience of 210 million.
Nicki is also the anchor for CNN series ‘Supercharged’, a technology and motor show, and CNN’s ‘Going Green’ eco show as well as the Formula Kart Stars Presenter on Sky Sports F1. Otherwise she is a regular presenter at ITV’s ‘Goodwood Festival of Speed’, ‘Cars of the Future’ (with Robert Llewellyn) and ‘Goodwood Members Meeting’.
Now in their seventh year, the LowCVP Low Carbon Champions Awards Gala Dinner will recognise innovation and best practice in low carbon road transport, celebrating the achievements of organisations that have been in the vanguard of the low carbon shift over the last year or so.
Including a three-course dinner and welcome reception, guests will have the opportunity to meet leading representatives, including many of the ‘movers and shakers’, from the sector.
