Join us for a webinar at 3pm (UK time) on Thursday 16 December to hear John German of the International Council on Clean Transportation (ICCT) who will present findings of the ICCT's study into the effectiveness of 'feebate' schemes. The webinar is free to all attendees.

Feebates are a policy tool under which less efficient vehicles pay fees that are used to provide rebates to more efficient vehicles.

According to the ICCT, feebates are an effective way to pull technology into the fleet, but are usually misunderstood. Their primary impact is on manufacturers, not consumers. They can be used with attribute adjustments, similar to how weight or size adjustments are used with fuel economy standards.

John German is the Washington DC-based Programme Director of ICCT.

The LowCVP Managing Director Greg Archer will chair the webinar.
