The LowCVP will again be collaborating with six other agencies in the government-associated 'innovation support ecosystem' at the Cenex-LCV 2019 event, which takes place at Millbrook Proving Ground on 4-5 September 2019. The 'UK Government Pavilion' at the event has been established to help visitors understand what support is available to them in terms of the drive for innovation on the Road to Zero.
The LowCVP is partnering with the Advanced Propulsion Centre, the Automotive Council, Centre for Connected & Autonomous Vehicles, Department for International Trade, Innovate UK and the Office for Low Emission Vehicles on the Pavilion. The centre of the Pavilion will be devoted to a ‘Future of Technology Zone’ where some of the exciting opportunities and big challenges for the automotive industry will be discussed.
On the UK Government Pavilion, representatives from LowCVP and all the other involved agencies will be offering new ‘Meet the Experts’ sessions to provide free advice and support to companies on how they can understand the political and economic backdrop and successfully commercialise their ideas in terms of low carbon automotive R&D.
One-to-one meetings can be pre-booked with representatives who will be able to provide advice on a wide range of challenges facing the automotive industry, including securing grant funding for research and development.
Cenex-LCV is the UK's premier low carbon vehicle event. It incorporates four keys features:
-
Technology exhibition
-
Extensive seminar programme
-
Facilitated networking with the low carbon community
-

-
Build organisations' awareness and confidence to adopt Low Carbon Vehicle technologies in vehicles and in fleet operations
LCV2018 set a new record with over 4,300 attendees and over 250 exhibitors. This year's event takes place on Wednesday 4th and Thursday 5th September 2019 at Millbrook. The organisers say that this year's event is set to be the biggest and best yet.
