The LowCVP - which has just passed 1500 followers on Twitter - will be supporting the Department for Energy and Climate Change's #BackClimateAction 'Tweetathon' on Thursday 3 December. As the world turns its attention towards achieving a global climate change deal in Paris, DECC want to showcase how business is leading the low carbon revolution.
As part of their Back Climate Action campaign, DECC has launched a new web platform to tell stories from businesses and organisations who are leading the way by lowering emissions. It is also running a week long 'Tweetathon' from 30th November to 4th December. DECC says this is a chance for organisations and individuals to speak out to a large and engaged audience about the actions being taken to tackle climate change.
You can take part in the campaign by submitting a story to the Back Climate Action website or by joining the Tweetathon. For more information, please email DECC.
