The LowCVP has organised three seminars for the team undertaking the King Review of low carbon cars following a suggestion by the Partnership Secretariat.

The three seminars addressed:

• Hybrid and electric vehicles:  concentrating upon the current state of technology and anticipated future trends including battery technology.
• Advanced biofuels: focusing on the likely development of biofuel products for road transport over the next 10-15 years
• Car purchase attitudes and behaviour: outlining car buyer attitudes and driver behaviour from the perspective of both private and fleet purchasers. It also aimed to identify the barriers to increasing consumer demand for low carbon vehicles and the means to overcome them.

Presentations made by members at the seminars are available on the LowCVP website.
