The LowCVP Managing Director Andy Eastlake has given evidence to the Transport Select Committee inquiry into 'Motoring of the Future'. The inquiry is intended to determine how the UK Government can address developments in motoring technology, notably alternative fuels, safety improvements and driver aids.

The LowCVP evidence was taken alongside that of Colin Herron of Zero Carbon Futures. Earlier in the same session - the second that the Committee has held - the cross-party group of MPs also heard from representatives of TRL, Newcastle University and Newcastle City Council.

The session covered questions on fuels of the future, the role of the Office for Low Emission Vehicles and intelligent transport systems.

A video recording of the session and a full transcript are available through the Transport Select Committee website.
