The LowCVP is once again teaming up with Cenex to present this year's Low Carbon Champions Awards at a gala dinner which to be held on the evening of Wednesday September 9, alongside Cenex's Low Carbon Vehicle (LCV) Event 2015. The LowCVP, in collaboration with LCV-Cenex, is planning an even bigger and better event than in 2014, and is currently inviting interest in sponsorship of the Awards. The call for Awards entries in eight categories will be announced in the next few weeks.

The LowCVP and Cenex began the association last year in a collaboration which culminated in a very successful and oversubscribed event in Milton Keynes. This year's event will be hosted at a new, larger capacity venue and promises to be even more popular.

Last year's event was significantly over-subscribed so early booking for seats at the event will be essential to secure a place.

Cenex's LCV 2015 is the UK’s largest technology showcasing and networking event for the UK low carbon vehicle community. This year it will once again take place at Millbrook, Beds, on 9-10 September.  The central feature of this year’s dinner - probably the leading networking event of the year for the low carbon transport community - will be the LowCVP's Low Carbon Champions Awards.

The LowCVP Low Carbon Champions Awards are a well-established event on the low carbon vehicle industry calendar. They celebrate the achievements of organisations and individuals who have made the greatest contribution to accelerating the shift to low carbon vehicles and fuels over the preceding year. The Awards are accredited by the RSA which enables the winners to be considered for entry to the highly prestigious European Business and the Environment (EBAE) Awards.

Sponsorship of one of the Champions Awards entitles the sponsor to a table for eight at the event; an ideal opportunity to develop new business partnerships or consolidate established ones. There are a wide range of associated branding, marketing and awareness-raising opportunities, providing the opportunity to be closely associated with the drive to combat climate change and accelerating the shift to low carbon vehicles and fuels.
