LowCVP Bus and Innovation groups team up to collaborate on future technologies

The LowCVP held the first joint meeting between the Bus and Innovation working groups, kindly hosted by Transport for the West Midlands, which had over 50 members in attendence to discuss what innovations will shape the future of the bus industry and help meet the challenges of the next decade, 2020-2030. Looking beyond just the powertrain tech and looking at innovative new solutions to help improve passenger experience and reverse the downward trend in ridership.

The next Bus Working Group meeting will take place on 11th October 2018. Venue to be confirmed. Any members who wish to offer to host the meeting, please email Daniel.Hayes@lowcvp.org.uk. Register your attendance here.
The next joint Innovation Working Group will be in collaboration the Fuels Working Group on the 4th October 2018. Members are invited to submit ideas for presentations on the future of fuels. BWG members are also welcome to attend the meeting (as they are with all other LowCVP Working Groups).
 
LowCVP will be looking to host a Low Emission Bus Workshop in July, most likely in Bristol. Exact date and venue tbc.
