A presentation on the role and activities of the Low Carbon Vehicle Partnership was delivered at the inaugural conference for vehicle manufacturers – ‘The UK’s role in the global automotive industry’ – on press day at the start of the Motor Show in Birmingham.
Partnership member Dr James Wilkie of Johnson Matthey spoke to a presentation prepared by the LowCVP Secretariat. This was followed by an outline of Johnson Matthey’s role in stimulating hydrogen fuel cell development activity in the UK. Patricia Hewitt, Secretary of State for Trade and Industry, also addressed the conference.
