LowCVP and Government Pavilion at LCV Event 2018

The LowCVP will again have a prominent role in Cenex's Low Carbon Vehicle Event (LCV 2018) which will take place at Millbrook Proving Ground on 12-13 September. The Partnership, a supporting partner of the LCV Event, is involved in the central Government Pavilion which will showcase the different ways government and its agencies are working to accelerate the low emissions transition and to deliver benefits to 'UK Plc'. The LowCVP is also working with Innovate UK to present a new and enhanced incarnation of the Truck Stop, which will show off the latest innovations in low emission truck technology.
 
LCV2018 - the 11th time the event has taken place - anticipates over 220 exhibitors and 4,000 delegates from the UK and overseas. This year's event is also being held in association with the Prime Minister's Zero Emission Vehicle Summit, to be held in Birmingham on 11 September. Delegates invited by the Summit hosts will be attending LCV2018 on 12 September.
 
LCV2018, which is a free event, features:
  • Technology exhibition
  • Extensive seminar programme
  • Ride & Drive around Millbrook's varying and lengthy test tracks
The LowCVP will be a part of the UK Government Pavilion in the Centre of Hall 3, in collaboration with the the Advanced Propulsion Centre, the Office for Low Emission Vehicles (OLEV), the Department for Business, Energy and Industrial Strategy (BEIS), the Department for International Trade (DIT), Innovate UK and the Centre for Connected and Autonomous Vehicles (CCAV).
 
The LowCVP is also teaming up with Innovate to present the Truck Stop on the steering pad. (See related story)
