Honda Motor Company says it expects to have fuel-cell vehicles on the general market by 2018. Honda's President, Takeo Fukui, expressed his view in an interview with the Japanese News Agency, Kyodo. In September 2007, Honda unveiled its FCX concept fuel-cell car which is planned for limited marketing in Japan and the United States. Takeo Fukui told Kyodo: "In 2018, I believe the development (of a fuel-cell car) will have been very advanced."
