Formula Zero, the new zero emissions race class for hydrogen fuel cell vehicles, is holding a launch event in London on 5th February to give sponsors and partners the opportunity to learn more about the initiative.
The Formula Zero race class will begin with a Student Edition in 2008 and will later scale up to a City Edition (Formula 3 size cars) and eventually to the Circuit Edition (full size racing). Universities, including Imperial College London and UCLA from the United States are constructing vehicles to take part in the UK race on 24/25 September in Potters Fields Park near Tower Bridge.
