Chaired by Alan Whitehead MP, PRASEG; Introduced by Greg Archer, Low CVP Director
This seminar will discuss recent developments in policy relating to electric vehicles and progress in their introduction. The speakers will discuss, from their different perspectives, the steps needed to take electric and plug-in hybrid vehicles from niche applications to more mainstream use.
Speakers:
- Chris Pascall, Head of Transport, EDF - will provide the view of an electricity supplier, addressing infrastructure and supply challenges
- Kevin Austin, Head of Transport, Greater London Authority – will give an overview of what London is doing to speed the introduction of EVs and what can be done at local or regional level to encourage their uptake.
