APC UK announces £30m for collaborative projects

The Advanced Propulsion Centre’s latest funding competition is now open, offering up to £30 million matched funding for innovation that actively accelerates the introduction of low carbon propulsion technologies to the market.
The competition, APC9: Anchoring low carbon technology development in the UK, seeks to provide funding for the best future low carbon advanced propulsion technologies which can deliver significant reductions in vehicle emissions compared to current, competing, best-in-class technologies as well as the capability to develop the UK’s supply chain in the field of low carbon vehicle technology.
Projects must demonstrate the development of propulsion technologies based around one or more of the following technology areas:

Thermal Propulsion Systems

Lightweight powertrain structures

Electric machines and power electronics
-
Energy storage and energy management
-
Alternative propulsion systems
Applications must be submitted by consorita by the 7th March 2018. Further details are available on the link below.
