APC launches latest funding call: Driving UK capability through Low Carbon Propulsion Innovation

The latest round of APC Grant Funding, APC5: Driving UK capability through Low Carbon Propulsion Innovation, opens its doors for applications today. Consortia which have a research and development project, that can deliver significant reductions in vehicle CO2 emissions, then applications for a share of the £35M grant investment are available.
Deadline
To be in with a shot of becoming one of the next APC Grant Funded Projects, registrations must be completed for the competition by 23 March 2016, and have submitted your application by 30 March 2016.
Criteria
To apply for funding your consortia project must be able to demonstrate the development of propulsion technologies based around one or more of the following technology areas:

internal combustion engines
-
lightweight vehicle and powertrain structures
-
electric machines and power electronics
-
energy storage and energy management
-
alternative propulsion systems
Total eligible project costs will be between £5 million and £40 million and projects are expected to last between 18 and 42 months.
