American Honda has announced a joint venture with FuelMaker Corporation to bring a natural gas vehicle to the US market that can be refuelled at home.
Honda, which owns almost 20 percent of Canada's FuelMaker Corporation, plans to launch a Civic GX natural gas vehicle, beginning in California in spring 2005. The Civic GX has been sold for seven years in the US, but so far has been marketed only to fleets.
