The Energy Saving Trust, with support from the Department for Transport, JAQU and the LowCVP, is organising a series of free workshops during March 2019 to give advice to local authorities on how to implement and accelerate the transition to ultra-low emission vehicles (ULEVs).

The registration link to access all the events listed below is HERE and the agenda for the event can be viewed through the individual onward links.

There are five events during March, so simply pick the event that is closest/most convenient for you. To register (free) please follow the links below:

  • Derby, 4th March (Venue: Pride Park Stadium)
  • Bristol, 6th March (Venue: M Shed)
  • Guildford, 7th March (Venue: The Mandolay Hotel)
  • Manchester, 12th March (Venue: Old Trafford Cricket Ground)
  • Newcastle, 14th March (Venue: St James Park)

The workshops will bring together local authorities, enabling representatives to gather feedback on the key issues they face in encouraging ULEVs introduction. There will be case studies and feedback from relevant projects in each region. Attendees will have the opportunity to share best practice through facilitated discussion groups and learn about what other local authorities are doing, and develop inter-authority working.

Please note that suppliers are not attending this event, it is a local authority audience only. All of the presentations and discussions will involve as many examples of best practice as possible.

The workshop also includes details of funding for local government projects and will allow attendees to leave with their own actions on how to deliver 'Road to Zero' in their region.

During the registration process you will be asked to select the workshops you would most like to attend.

The Achieving Road to Zero for Local Authorities; Best Practice Workshop series forms part of the EST's new Local Government Support Programme.
