Description:
The Technology Strategy Board would like to invite you to an exciting event focussed at bringing SME’s in the automotive and motorsport sectors together, to demonstrate their capabilities to each other and find new customers in the SME, OEM, and Tier1 sectors.
On 15th May, TSB will be holding a busy day at Millbrook Proving Ground, with opportunities for automotive SMEs to engage with each other and publicise their capabilities to potential new customers. The day will comprise of two events held simultaneously:
-
‘Meet The Engineer’ repeats its successful formula from previous years of four themed sessions of short, punchy capability presentations by SMEs in the engine, electric motor, power electronics, energy storage, and lightweighting business areas. The sessions will, once again, be chaired by Productiv.
-
‘High Performance, Low Carbon SME Showcase’ is a new venture attracting SME companies from motorsport and small series production, as well as their suppliers, to exhibit their capabilities to each other and to potential new customers & business partners in their neighbouring sectors. This is the first time we have brought companies from these two sectors together specifically to have them network and make new relationships. As such, we are pleased to announce that the event is being organised in association with the Niche Vehicle Network and the Motorsport Industry Association, who will also be present on the day.
Technology Strategy Board is coordinating the event overall to leverage the benefits of cross-cutting technology deployment.
The event will appeal to engineers and decision-makers in the OEMs and supply-chain to find new technology providers to help them meet the demanding requirements of future Low Carbon Vehicles.
The event is being organised in association with the Niche Vehicle Network, the Motorsport Industry Association, the Office for Low Emission Vehicles, and the Automotive Council.
