Stephen Ladyman, the transport minister, will open an event hosted by the UK Society of Investment Professionals (UKSIP) which aims to give potential investors the chance to see some of the most innovative low carbon vehicle technologies. The event, organised by the Energy Saving Trust, will take place at Guildhall Yard, London EC2 on 11 July.
The main objective of the event is to pave the way by bringing technology developers and private investors together in one forum to encourage post-demonstration business development.
Delegates will have the opportunity to view concept vehicles on display in the Guildhall Yard. The exhibitors include: Amberjac Ltd, Axon Automotive Ltd, Azure Dynamics, Connaught Motor Co, Permo-Drive, tech2reality Ltd, Vectrix and Zytek
Key speakers from the technology and investor community include: Philip Sellwood of EST; Russell Sparkes of UKSIP; Nick Owen of Ricardo; Robert Evans of CENEX; Roy Irish of Connaught Motor Co and Ernie Richardson of MTI.
The event is free of charge. There will be an evening reception to provide further networking opportunities.
