Europe’s leading conference for Low Carbon motorsport will be headlined by Lola-Drayson B12/69EV project, combining in ONE vast room at the NEC Birmingham, 200 delegates, key influencers and media, surrounded by a “demonstration showcase” of current low carbon, alternative energy and electric powered high performance engineering solutions.

Motorsport is being used more and more as the showcase for low carbon technologies and development and UK Motorsport technology now embraces; Hybrid, Low Carbon, Alternative Fuels, Electric, Sustainable and Intelligent Materials. The 2012 conference will have low carbon racing at its heart, no longer a theory, it is now reality. The technology is now proven with a host of suppliers and numerous racing activities.
Amongst key influencers the organisers are delighted to confirm:

• Lord Drayson, former Minister for Science and Innovation and Managing Partner of Drayson Racing Technologies
• Nick Baird, Chief Executive Officer of UK Trade & Investment, former Director General, Europe and Globalisation and Member of the Foreign and Commonwealth Office (FCO) Board

Drayson Racing Technologies and Lola Group are the official title hosts for the 2012 conference. Together with the car, their showcase will include their technical partners involved in the project.
