Description:

The LowCVP's 2016 Annual Conference will take place on Thursday 30 June 2016 at Here East in the Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park, London. The event will be supported by and held in association with the  Make the Future London exhibition and delegates will also have a VIP opportunity to see cars of the future in action at the Shell Eco-marathon.

The content of this year's LowCVP Conference is under development but is planned to feature:

  • The political and economic situation for the UK low carbon automotive and fuels sector following the Paris Conference, the EU referendum and in the context of the Fifth Carbon Budget
  • How the UK is placed to develop and benefit from the low carbon propulsion technologies of the future
  • Efficient, intelligent and autonomous; how new technologies can change the outlook for transport carbon
  • Transport energy for the future; lower carbon fuels and maximising the benefits of plug-ins through an EV-ready grid
  • Future vehicles; delivering lower carbon and cleaner air & including LowCVP's key initiatives in 2016-17
  • Drinks reception in the Olympic Park and opportunity for a private view of the 'Make the Future' exhibition and the Eco-marathon competitors and venue

The LowCVP Conference 2016 is also be held in association with the Advanced Propulsion Centre.
