Description:
The Office for Low Emission Vehicles (OLEV), the Department for Business, Energy and Industrial Strategy (BEIS), and Innovate UK are to launch further funding in support of innovation, research and development in the Automotive Industry. This event is hosted by the Knowledge Transfer Network and will provide a briefing on future funding.
The 13th edition of the Integrated Delivery Programme (IDP13) will be launched in September. The focus of the funding is to enable industry-led research into vehicle technology to deliver real world emissions savings.
The IDP series of competitions have been running for 9 years and have supported nearly 200 projects with over £175m of grant to date. Analysis has shown a strong return on investment through this impact study.
The official briefing event will take place on 20th September 2016 at the National Conference Centre in Solihull and will also be webcast for those unable to attend in person.
The event will also reflect on the achievements of some of the previously supported projects, allowing the audience an opportunity to get a deeper understanding of some of the more successful projects, which we hope will be thought provoking.
