Description:
This year's Green Fleet Scotland event moves to the Highland Hall in order to accommodate more vehicles and exhibitors than ever before. The event will include an indoor exhibition with test drives of zero and low emission vehicles, a series of seminars and, of course, the fuel efficient driving experience. The event provides an opportunity for businesses and other organisations to find out more about how to save money on their transport costs.
The Energy Saving Trust, (EST), Transport Scotland and Scottish Enterprise are the sponsors of GreenFleet Scotland, now in its sixth year.
Seminar sessions will focus on Electric Vehicles, Hydrogen and Vehicle Technology, with the lead being taken by Transport Scotland. Full details of the programme will be announced soon.
The Fuel Efficient Driving Experience will allow Scottish organisations to battle it out to find which drives the most efficiently. Business drivers will be set a series of check points to navigate in a Peugeot, monitored by RAC business.
EST will challenge visitors to ‘Beat the Sprig’ by competing against The Energy Saving Trust’s efficient driving superstar over a predefined course in the same vehicle.
