Impacts of the introduction of EVs in many aspects of the built environment are not yet understood and this conference will address those areas, including:

EV-to-built-environment (EV2BE) scope and briefing
Sustainable mobility, community sustainability assessments & environmental aspects (noise, fire, etc)
Products and services for EVs - charging points, batteries, connection kits and ICT/software (e.g. built in EV satellite navigation dashboard and onboard planning computation)
Urban, suburban and rural EV2BE
EVs, Demand Side Management (DSM) and the Smart Grid

Specific topics to be discussed will include:

- the adaptation of infrastructure and how charging point networks will be developed
- the local environmental impacts and implications of EVs
- areas of commercial opportunities in relation to products and services
- an overview of sustainable mobility issues
- smart grid developments

BRE and CIR invite participation in the first conference to bring together professionals from the built environment and the automotive sectors to consider the impacts of EVs.
