The workshop is aimed at those involved in the claiming of BSOG, in particular operator finance departments.
In a significant shift towards supporting the cost-effective operation of Zero Emission Buses, DfT have introduced a 22p/km incentive from 1st April 2022 for operators in England.
This new 22p/km replaces the 6p/km previously being claimed for battery electric and hydrogen fuel cell buses.
A full description of the claims process will be detailed in the webinar.
To claim the 22p/km, operators will need a Zero Emission Bus certificate and a ZEB Vehicle Summary Sheet. Both are available to download via the Zemo website here.
DfT have also created a claims form sheet specific to ZEB buses.
Manufacturers and vehicle suppliers are responsible for testing their vehicle over the UK Bus Cycle to achieve Zero Emission Bus Certification.
For micro-hybrids, hybrids and biomethane buses the BSOG LCEB 6p/km remains in place until further notice.
