Description:
In many parts of Europe, energy generated from renewables now accounts for an increasing percentage of electricity demand. This presents emerging opportunities in the transport sector for the wider deployment of renewable technologies, for example through electro-mobility and the use of hydrogen for transportation and refuelling infrastructure. This free event will explore how European partnerships, collaboration and uptake of EU funding opportunities can contribute to this agenda enabling the delivery of social, environmental and economic benefits in cities and communities across Europe.
The Scottish Government EU Office, Scotland Europa and Transport Scotland in partnership with the Scottish Hydrogen and Fuel Cell Association invite you to an event on this critical policy issue as part of EU Sustainable Energy Week. The event will showcase leading projects and activities from Scotland, Spain and Norway, with a particular focus on hydrogen technologies. It will also include participation from the European Commission and the Fuel Cells and Hydrogen Joint Undertaking (FCH JU).
