For the second year, the organisers of the Commercial Vehicle Show will hold the CV Forum, an important discussion and debate event for industry’s most senior representatives, government ministers, officials and key members of the media.

Chaired by BBC broadcaster Justin Webb, the afternoon event will feature keynote speaker Stephen Hammond MP, Under Secretary of State for Transport, in addition to two Question Time style panel discussions:
Business efficiency in road transport
How can the road transport industry adapt to an environment of lower margins, more stringent legislation and higher customer expectations? Discussion will address challenges and opportunities for companies in the sector and how best to approach issues of sustainability, compliance and new technology integration.
Setting the benchmark for the European road transport sector
A thriving road transport sector is vital to the UK economy but it’s a sector that faces some fundamental challenges. Here debate will concentrate on how government policy, skills shortages, the changing commercial environment and funding challenges are impacting the industry’s ability to boost the UK’s economic recovery and how UK can lead change in Europe.
