Pivot Power’s mission is to accelerate the UK’s transition to a lower carbon electricity and transport future. We are developing, funding and operating large battery storage projects connected directly to the transmission system AND providing the electricity capacity for large-scale electric vehicle charging infrastructure throughout the UK. Rapid charging at public hubs and overnight charging at commercial fleet and bus depots will require levels of power for which the distribution grid was not designed.
